DESCRIPTION
SMP-210
is on the cutting-edge of today's performance coatings and sets the
standard for single application, high build, low VOC, low odor coatings
that have extreme anti-stick characteristics and chemical, weathering,
abrasion and UV resistance that can be applied with conventional spray
equipment.
The
SMP-210 is a high performance, 95% + solid, low VOC, low odor, two-component,
aliphatic fluropolyaspartic coating that is impregnated with an leading-edge
EPA registered mildewcide taht prevents mold and mildew growth on the paint film only.. This highly versatile product is well suited
for a variety of commercial, OEM, process, marine, aerospace and other
industrial applications.
SMP-210 has phenomenal chemical and UV performance characteristics and
has unique and exceptional anti-stick properties. SMP-210 prevents moisture,
weathering and UV degradation, and it is highly resistive to hydrocarbons
and severe corrosion due to the incorporation of CPT ® corrosion
inhibitors. This multi-faceted product can be used wherever as it can be sprayed with conventional
spray equipment and has virtually no odor.
SMP-210
is a leading-edge new development in coating technology allowing medium
to high build applications for immersion and non-immersion service.
SMP-210's incorporation of CPT corrosion inhibitors provides long-term
corrosion preventative characteristics in harsh industrial applications.
SMP-210 has excellent UV stability, allowing it to maintain excellent
color and gloss retention. SMP-210 is also well suited for in plant
applications where regulatory approval is required. SMP-210 is readily
applied with generic application equipment and dries within an hour
of application. Ultra Low VOC's, low odor, fast dry, long-term durability
and technologically unique physical properties make SMP-210 a more cost
effective and safe alternative to traditional performance coatings.
SMP-210
is a coating that makes no sacrifice in any performance category. It
is extremely versatile and may be used for applications such as bridges,
offshore structures, light standards, structural steel, food and process
plants, distribution, refrigeration and storage facilities, public swimming
pool areas, railcar exteriors and a wide variety of other OEM applications.

APPLICATION
Plural
component airless system with inline mix ratio of 2:1 is recommended.
No reduction is required. An airless pump system may be used when mixing
prior to use. Tip size recommended .030"-.035". This product
may be applied with a natural bristle brush or short nap roller (5 mm
nap).

is a two component product designed for application with plural component
equipment or airless spray systems.

Surface
Preparation
Suitable
substrates for SMP-210 include ferrous metal, galvanized metal, aluminum,
fiberglass, FRP board, concrete, wood and drywall. Good surface preparation
and cleaning of all substrates to be coated is essential for optimum
performance of the coating system. All surfaces to be coated should
be clean, dry and free from contaminants.
