CPT-160 Clear Coat Light
This water-based, single component coating is a fast dry and clear long-term corrosion preventative. Used in OEM, operational and mothballing and lay-up applications
CPT-160 is a CPT infused water based coating that leaves a firm and flexible dry film. CPT-160 is an excellent choice for long-term indoor corrosion protection or medium outdoor protection. The recommended film thickness is 1-2mil DFT. CPT-160 offers excellent salts pray resistance and is an environmentally friendly replacement for oil and solvent based products. CPT-160 can be easily removed if desired with acetone or any alkaline cleaner.

Dry to tacky: 10-30minutes. Recoat time: 30-90 minutes. Full cure: 1-2 hours

Theoretical Coverage: 350-450 sq. ft/gal. / 1 mil
Weight per Gallon 7.9–8.4 lb/gal. (0.95–1.01 kg/l). Shelf life 12 months @ 75°F (24°C)
Product Preparation: Product should be mixed prior to use. Product Application: Product can be applied by spray, brush, roll or dip. Normal WFT of 6 mils (150 microns) yields 2 mils (50 microns) DFT. Product Cleanup: Use soap and water to clean up tools and overspray.
Brush: Nylon/polyester or nylon (dilution 0–50%). Roller: Polyester knitted (dilution 0–50%). Product Cleanup: Use water to clean up tools and overspray.
5 gallon (19 liter) pails and 55 gallon (208 liter) drums. Do not allow product to freeze.
