SEI Corrosion ProofTM Primer
The SEI Corrosion Proof Primer utilizes CPTTM Technology (Corrosion Preventative Technology). This is a highly charged and durable migrational molecule that has the ability to penetrate and travel through a wide variety of mediums in order to find and bond with all types of metal. The CPT molecule needs to fulfill its ionic attraction by bonding with either ferrous or non-ferrous metal. Once the CPT molecule has found metal it creates a highly durable, resilient and robust chemical bond. This bond provides extensive protection for long periods of time in very harsh environments. The Corrosion Proof Primer is an accelerated drying, corrosion inhibitive, non-lifting primer for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metal. This product features excellent adhesion, water resistance and long-term corrosion prevention. This product contains no added lead, chromates or heavy metal compounds. This is an Environmental System. This coating resists sagging with excellent flexibility. SEI Corrosion Proof Primer is non-toxic and is easily weldable.
Recommended Uses & Topcoat
Use on well-cleaned structural steel, beams, posts, tanks, plate stock and iron in any application, which requires corrosion resistance with exceptional adhesion. May be top coated with the Corrosion Proof Topcoat, Corrosion Proof Topcoat-EN or the Corrosion Proof Offshore Coat.
